All About Extensions!!

I set up this blog to answer all questions you may have about hair extensions. I also wanted to show pictures of my real customers and let your read what they have to say about their extensions.

Some FAQ's
What is the price??
I charge per strand for real hair extensions. A strand is a small cluster of hair grouped into one unit. $4.00 per strand for stock hair and $5.00 per strand for extra thick.
**To add volume and thickness only: You would need anywhere from 25-50 strands of hair. The cost for thickness with very little added length is from $200 - $300
**To add a lot of length as well as thickness, I would suggest anywhere from 100 strands of hair to 150. Price ranging from $400 - $600 depending on the thickness and length desired.

Can I brush it??
YES! not only can you brush and round brush it. You can... flat iron, curl, twist, braid, shampoo and shampoo some more. Then style it to your hearts content!

Is it damaging??
The method I use is the least damaging extension method out there. You use little tiny aluminum clips that you thread through the hair and clamp down using a special tool. So it's just holding your hair in place. With out the use of any kind of glue or tight braiding that can develop mold over time. The best part of this method is the easy tightening aspect of it. When it is time to tighten, I simply use another tool to open the tiny clip back up and slide the hair back to the roots and take the tool to re-clamp it back down and voil-la!

Dose it hurt??
NO! it is a little tight while putting them in and for 48 hours after that. But once they are in your hair you can't feel them at all. You can wear you hair in a really high pony tail and slick it back with out seeing the clips or any pain at all.

Will it match my hair??
I custom blend all my extension to my clients. I never just use what I have on hand. I use 3 to 4 colors to blend the absolute perfect match for each individual client. It blends in beautifully.

How are they applied??
I thread a tiny piece of your hair through a tiny clip that is the same color as your roots. I then, take my metal tool and clamp it into a smooth, flat, tight clamp that can be easily brushed over without getting caught from your brush. This process is repeated for each individual extension.

Are they hard to style??
You can do everything that you normally do to your hair when you style it. The only difference is that you just added more hair to your head and therefore it might take longer to dry. I suggest to people in a hurry, to wash it the night before and then flat iron or curl it the next day. The extensions curl like a dream and stay curled for several days! I can get like 3 days out of a style. Which is so awesome!

Do they come in different textures??
YES! They come in very fine to very coarse. From Russian hair to Italian hair. My stock hair is most often European hair, but I can make special orders to match exactly to the clients texture.

Why I Love Extensions
I am so confident that you will LOVE these Hairloc extensions. I personally have worn them in my own hair for over 5 years now. I love having thicker, fuller hair that holds a style, not only all day, but for several days. I love how well they blend and look like my own hair, so much so, That I forget I even had thinner hair to start with. I am very passionate about extensions and making people have the gorgeous hair they have always dreamed of.

On the side of my blog are some sample pictures and testimonies of a few of my clients that have been wearing the Hairloc extensions for over 2 years.
